"Le sabotier du Val de Loire"

Primary tabs

The acclaimed French New Wave film director Jacques Demy ("The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" and "The Young Girls of Rochefort"), as a child and a Jew, spent one year with a clog-maker and his wife during the bombing of Nantes. Screening with two other documentary shorts: Jean-Luc Godard's "Opération béton" and Maurice Pialat's "L'Amour existe."

Total running time: ca. 70 min.
