The Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County (HMTC) presents a lecture, "On the Road to the Holocaust: Moses Mendelssohn and the Jewish Enlightenment," by Linda F. Burghardt, Ph.D., Scholar-in-Residence at HMTC.

But along with this huge success came a powerful backlash that paved the road to the Holocaust with a virulent revival of "the hate that would not die." How did this happen, and why?
