Jews on the Chocolate Trail: A Talk and Tasting

AFMDA - Join Us and Help Save Lives in Israel

Enjoy a delectable journey with Rabbi Deborah Prinz , author of "On the Chocolate Trail: A Delicious Adventure Connecting Jews, Religions, History, Travel, Rituals and Recipes to the Magic of Cacao" (Second Edition, Jewish Lights, 2017), through the Jewish history of chocolate.

Prinz draws from her world travels on the trail of chocolate to explore the surprising Jewish connections to chocolate in this gastronomic adventure through cultures, countries, centuries and convictions. Jews have had an appetite for chocolate, from generation to generation, and chocolate, a Jewish immigrant food, reflects Jewish resilience and resourcefulness.

A book signing follows the event.
