Yom Hashoah Salon for 20s + 30s (Zikaron BaSalon)

Join us for an incredible, intimate evening to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day. Zikaron BaSalon takes place in your the living room of a member of our 20s + 30s community. Participants create their own experience during the event, through an open discussion about the Holocaust and its impact on society across time. Zikaron BaSalon events consist of three parts: testimony by a survivor, artistic expression and an open discussion. The event is a potluck, so please bring vegetarian snacks or kosher wine to share.

This is part of an international movement started in Israel, with hundreds of young adults marking this day by remembering the Shoah (Holocaust) and discussing how we can ensure we never forget.

This event will take place at an apartment near the JCC. Address will be e-mailed to participants.
