ReOrdered: a Global Passover Event in New York City

Primary tabs

Join other young adults in celebrating global Jewish stories of freedom, traditions and flavors from across the globe from Ethiopia, Morocco, Sarajevo and the former Soviet Union through an interactive program. Enjoy traditional Russian cuisine and sample global Passover-themed cocktails made from handcrafted, small-batch Moroccan mahia and horseradish vodka.

The Mahia for this event has been sponsored by Nahmias et Fils, the only source for locally-produced Mahia in the U.S. It’s inspired by a 1900 heirloom Nahmias family recipe, from the village of Taznakht, Nahmias. Now, Master Distiller David Nahmias handcrafts small batches of Mahia in the Hudson Valley. At least 6 pounds of carefully selected, California figs are distilled into each 750 ml bottle.

JDC Entwine is building a generation of young Jews who lead and live a life of action with global Jewish responsibility at its core. This event is planned for a 21+ young adult audience and is made possible by the generous support of the Genesis Philanthropy Group.
