LaborTalks: Sarah Kessler

Primary tabs

Author Sarah Kessler will join us to discuss her new book, "Gigged: The End of the Job and the Future of Work." She meets the people forging this new world of unorthodox employment: from the computer programmer who chooses exactly which hours to work each week, to the Uber driver who is trying to convince his peers to unionize.

Co-presented by the Wormen's Circle, The Sidney Hillman Foundation, Brooklyn Institute for Social Research, Dissent Magazine, the Jewish Labor Committee, and the Jewish Solidarity Caucus of D.S.A.

Light snacks and refreshments provided.
