Babetown Shabbat

Babetown is a monthly pop-up supper club for queer women, trans and non binary people, a moveable speakeasy that provides a relaxed atmosphere for meeting new people. With a full dinner showcasing local ingredients prepared by professionally trained chefs, your ticket also includes all you can drink wine and beer. We meet in private homes and are the alternative to the club or the bar — we're the pregame, a throwback to the salons of yesteryear, where the music rolls slow, but the wine flows freely.

This August, we are so proud to host our very first Shabbat dinner with OneTable in a beautiful Financial District loft! Before Babetown's founder and chef, Alex Koones, worked as a chef in several of the world's best restaurants, her main cooking gig was preparing Shabbat dinner with her family. Tonight she will be preparing updates on all the classics, including homemade challah and beer-braised brisket. Join us for the very queer Shabbat you don't wanna miss!
